Overcomer
I have always been a big fan of the Kendrick Brothers and their faith based films. I grew up a PK kid (preacher's kid) so I enjoy that I can watch these movies with my family. Last December I received a call to work in the hair dept of the movie Overcomer for few scenes that were being shot in Nashville. It has been great to see the success of this film over the last year. I was surprised to recently find out that Overcomer was nominated for 5 Movie Guide Awards. The Movie Guide awards is the award show that honors the most inspiring and family friendly movies of the year.

The 28th Annual Movie Guide Awards will take place on Jan. 24th, 2020. It will air on the Hallmark Channel at a later date.
