My Favorite Looks From the 2017 MET Gala
This year's theme for the MET Gala was "in-betweeness" inspired by the body of work of Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo. "In betweeness" has been described as the paradox that lies within her art, architecture and the general breaking down of barriers. Unlike traditional award shows the Met Gala is like fashion prom that gives you a chance to dress outside the box. Here are my 10 favorite looks from the 2017 MET Gala.

Rita Ora was a stunner in a platinum blonde pixie cut head piece (that took 3 days to create) with a sleek cat eye and bold crimson red lip.

Cara Delevingne futuristic vibe didn't stop at her metallic suit. The actress and model debuted her recently shaved head by coating it in silver paint and sequins. Her makeup was a soft smoky, pale pink lip with a bold brow. Actual crystals was applied to her cheekbones, forehead and neck for a twinkling skin effect.
Makeup by Romy Soleimani

Zendaya was my favorite look of the night. In a sea full of bobs, top knots and pixie cuts Zenedaya's gorgeous voluminous curly mane was everything to me. Her makeup was soft and romantic with a sweep of coral on her eyes, lips and cheeks.
